Jody Chavez is a Kansas City native who took the initiative
and started his own sod installation company in 1996. He is a graduate of the Independence Christian School and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Above and beyond his successful business and continuing education, Jody remains primarily a devoted husband and father. |

| Jody founded Austin Farms Sodding with a very specific goal in mind.
He wanted the consumers of the Kansas City area to be provided with a high quality product and excellent service for affordable prices. With this goal in mind, Jody chose to only provide the highest quality sod free from all netting. He has gathered together a very knowledgeable staff that is eager to provide the best service in town.
